BY THE LAW OFFICES OF PATRICK CHRISTOPHER
BANKRUPTCY

Chapter 7 Petitions (Liquidation for Individuals) and Chapter 13 Petitions (Re-Payment Plan for individuals over a five year period). Each plan is unique and the one appropriate for you depends on your circumstances.

Although the New Bankruptcy Law that became effective in October of 2005 makes it more difficult to seek Bankruptcy Relief, it has not stopped most people from seeking protection from the Federal Bankruptcy Law and being able to "get out from under extraordinary debt" and "start all over again".

Most people still qualify for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Relief.

IRS PROBLEMS

Warning: Don't Talk to the IRS! There are three different people you can hire to help you with IRS Problems and the IRS only recognizes these three (3) groups as authorized representatives: Attorneys, Certified Public Accountants and Legally Enrolled Agents.

A qualified lawyer can work out a good deal for your with the IRS: Penalty Abatement, Installment Plans or Offers in Compromise and other deals. These deals can save you thousands of dollars and avoid your assets being attached by the United States Marshal or your wages being garnisheed by the United States Marshal or your assets being seized by the United States Marshal.
